Our company is looking for a Head of Product Management to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing product support and maintenance for the full Product Life Cycle including end-of-life management;
  • Define and support an approach to decision-making based on data and insights;
  • Ensuring an ambitious yet achievable roadmap of all digital products across Shawbrook, to support the delivery of Shawbrook’s strategic objectives;
  • Working with colleagues across the business to agree and refine product vision and strategy;
  • Proposing and reviewing business cases for new digital product propositions and enhancements;
  • Driving delivery of business and customer aligned products and associated outcomes;
  • Being a source of product management knowledge and expertise within Shawbrook;
  • Developing the product strategy and product roadmap (based on inputs from internal and external stakeholders);
  • Building and continually updating credible product/project business cases;
  • Understanding the market needs and identifying where Owlstone can profitably satisfy those needs;
  • Ownership of digital product management working across all lines of business, ensuring a consistent approach from everyone in the product organisation;
  • Translating the product roadmap into detailed product requirements which Owlstone can develop against;
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders and key business areas of Shawbrook;
  • Leadership, coaching and line management of the product teams at Shawbrook;
  • Promoting and demonstrating results to enable stakeholder and business buy-in.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing successful delivery in an Agile software environment to deliver customer-led outcomes;
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, including start-ups;
  • Excellent requirements / competitive analysis skills, pricing and financial planning;
  • You are a connector, bringing people together you help make improvements even in areas you do not own;
  • Experience in developing developer tooling products, technologies or platforms;
  • Extensive experience and passion for the relevant product area and a deep understanding of the customer;
  • Excellent technical capability;
  • Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree (or equivalent experience);
  • Experience in the Java Development Community;
  • You have the ability to strongly influence decisions.
