Industry Key Account Manager – England & Wales Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Industry Key Account Manager – England & Wales to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Highly embedded use of CRM (SFDC) & BD Way of Selling;
- Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs;
- Provide adequate and prompt after sales service;
- Drive BD IDS Industry profit growth and category share with a focus on pharmaceutical, Personal Care Products companies;
- Achieve targeted/budgeted sales and gross profit;
- Engage Customer Service in the management of the Key Accounts to ensure the required service to our industrial customers;
- Promote, sell & secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a customer centric approach within the territory.
Requirements:
- Ability to engage with different functions in the customer organization (e.g. General Management, Procurement, Microbiology, Manufacturing, QA/QC);
- Traveling within Europe up to 5% of time;
- Sales experience in a B2B environment such as Biopharma & Medtech industry;
- Min. BSc degree, preferably in microbiology;
- Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations such as the EU Pharmacopeia;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work both independently and within a UKI and European team environment;
- Traveling within UK up to 50% of time;
- A proactive, result driven & entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to network & build long-term customer relationships.
