Investment Operations Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Investment Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Producing executive management information;
- Call monitoring and compliance support;
- Designing and analysing processes to ensure effective operations across the team;
- Performing daily cash, stock and NAV, and P&L reconciliations;
- Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of the firm’s compliance monitoring plan;
- Providing operational support to the trading desk, answering operational queries;
- Performing trade support including confirmations, settlements, custody administration, and corporate actions;
- Performing account maintenance e.g. account opening, suitability scoring and AML checking.
Requirements:
- A keen interest in the financial and securities market; strong financial and securities market awareness is preferred;
- Advanced IT knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills, able to convey information and instructions clearly and efficiently with all members of staff;
- Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced and highly pressurised environment.
