Key Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Technical and commercial liaison between the customer and the parent company’s market management;
- Managing key accounts to maintain long term relationships and maximise sales opportunities;
- Relationship management with key stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- Strategic sourcing – negotiating with vendors to obtain the best outcome for Communisis and client;
- Ensuring all client projects are delivered on time and to client satisfaction;
- Lead Point of Contact for all Customer Account Management matters;
- Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual EBITDA, cash flow and budgeted targets;
- Establishing a core of displaying retailers and building the pipeline of potential targets;
- Optimise Sales value, mix, volume while coping with changing environments;
- Deliver internal communication, to customers, customer engagement and brand promotion;
- Identify trends;
- Analyse sales results and act accordingly;
- Maximising sales & targets;
- Network, contact and present to new clients; exhibitions, pitches;
- Preparing sales reports.
Requirements:
- Existing relationships with key opinion leaders in the secondary care Cardiovascular therapy area;
- Degree in Engineering or a very strong technical background;
- Possess good computer skills;
- Strong experience within Cardiovascular therapy area;
- Experience of achieving formulary success within hospitals;
- Full driving license;
- In-depth understanding of customer and organisational needs for identified Key Opinion Leaders;
- To interact across Air Liquide entities;
- Aspirations to progress and develop your career in a growing organisation;
- Experience of working in a busy environment and balancing priorities;
- An understanding of POP vocabulary;
- Strong excel and PPT skills;
- Degree in Biosciences or STEM discipline;
- Drive and motivation with a desire to get out and see customers on a regular basis;
- Confident IT ability.
