Our company is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care, including nappies and assisting with potty training;
  • Writing up observations in learning profiles and journeys;
  • Creating and maintaining a safe learning environment which supports the learning of all children;
  • Building good relationships with the children and other members of nursery staff;
  • Formulating next steps for children in order to further their development;
  • Planning and delivering age appropriate activities in line with the EYFS;
  • Conducting observations in accordance with the EYFS framework;
  • Planning and delivering activities which encourage children’s learning and development;
  • Monitoring the children’s development, strengths and weaknesses and completing learning journals;
  • Promote child-led learning;
  • All round care of children aged 0-5yrs;
  • Planning and carrying out activities (indoor and outdoor);
  • Food preparation might be required;
  • After-school care also might be required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant childcare qualification for the role (Minimum NNEB, NVQ3/Diploma 3);
  • Experience of working in a nursery/private day care setting as a Nursery Nurse;
  • Provide a safe and secure home like environment for the children within your care;
  • Approachable and caring with a passion for working with children as a Nursery Nurse;
  • Good knowledge of OFSTED requirements;
  • An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures;
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare;
  • This position is for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a new position within the Streatham area;
  • A passion for working with and supporting children;
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and the welfare requirements;
  • Excellent team player;
