Major Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Major Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performing any other sales duties as reasonably required of you;
- Delivering against agreed revenue targets, call rates, activity levels and standards of performance, reporting back to the Director of Major Accounts;
- Understanding the full sales cycle, including closing deals and ensuring repeat business;
- Accurate sales forecasting and delivery to forecast;
- Generating opportunities to win new business in existing accounts and close profitable business;
- Creating innovative ideas to deliver results and grow the business;
- Managing customer accounts and building strong, long lasting customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Experience in planning and delivering on major account development strategies; and in sales forecasting and delivering results against forecast;
- A keen interest in and experience of promoting a brand through social media; proficiency in using a CRM is highly desirable;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
