Our company is looking for a Medical Director UK, Ireland and Nordics to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically leverage regional and/or global medical initiatives to meet local business needs, while maintaining an enterprise view;
- Support the payer/market access strategy and filings;
- Develops and maintains good working knowledge of the company’s key products and disease states;
- Responsible for development of Prescriber Information;
- Provide meaningful MA value metrics, quality assurance controls, and operational assessment/analysis plans relevant to MA activities and deliverables;
- Oversight and execution of an Early Access Program;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Support the development of the cluster commercialisation plan;
- Ensure successful and compliant execution of all MA activities and deliverables for the cluster;
- Develop the cluster Medical Affairs (MA) strategy and plan, in alignment with the larger European and full global plan;
- Participate in development of promotional claims as well as review of materials and final ABPI signatory;
- Provide oversight to cluster in Pharmacovigilance and support the European and global PV organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to work across a cross functional matrix;
- Proven Medical Affairs experience within the UK;
- Self-starter with “can do” attitude;
- Broad understanding of healthcare delivery environment, and the role of the pharmaceutical industry;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment;
- Experience overseeing compliance, PV, med info and regulatory;
- Fluency in English with additional language knowledge desired;
- Proven flexibility and adaptability with cultural astuteness and sensitivity;
- Demonstrated leadership ability;
- Sound organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Effective collaboration across cross-functional and geographical boundaries;
- Strong background in Medical Affairs with a special focus on launch phase experience;
- High ethical standards and able to work with transparency and Openness;
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders;
- UK GMC registered physician and ABPI final signatory.
