Multi Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake any machine adjustments within your capabilities;
- Keep the Engineering Manager informed of any problems encountered with any process or equipment issues you are dealing with;
- Fault find and repair equipment to a satisfactory standard;
- Ensure an effective shift handover is undertaken with the oncoming shift and work is logged according to workshop requirement;
- Maintain effective and appropriate communication with your colleagues at all times;
- Assist in relevant projects and machine modification as and when required;
- Provide training to Production employees within your expertise to increase their knowledge and understanding on equipment setup and fault finding;
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times;
- Use company equipment (manual, electrical or mechanical) in a safe manner;
- Undertake training offered by the company relevant to your position or for the good of the company;
- Follow and adhere to planned maintenance programs;
- Give training to other engineers within your expertise to increase their knowledge and understanding on equipment setup and fault finding;
- Rectifying any electro-mechanical faults on the equipment during the build process;
- Supporting the team with all building/manufacturing problems;
- Supporting the company’s development and providing support to team members around you.
Requirements:
- To be computer literate or be prepared to train to a satisfactory level;
- Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent;
- Qualified to BTEC or equivalent NVQ in Electrical engineering;
- 17th edition IEE Electrical Regulations Certificate;
- Completed Aprenticeship;
- Experience with 3 phase electrical motors;
- Competent with electrical and mechnical engineering procedures;
- 17th edition;
- Full UK driving licence.
