Our company is looking for a Payroll Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and prioritise own workload within agreed parameters;
  • Handle a cross section of client workloads;
  • Processing end to end payroll and overseeing the work of the other payroll team members;
  • Raise sales invoices, credit notes, upload to factor accounts and deliver to customers;
  • Issue all payslips and self-bill remittances electronically;
  • For all PAYE candidates maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with HMRC and AWR requirements;
  • Efficiently dealing with all client with agreed timescales;
  • Inputting all third party and additional payments and deductions;
  • Recording holidays in line with terms and conditions;
  • Work closely with on-site administrators at each store to resolve queries;
  • Processing payroll each week/month to tight deadlines;
  • Managing monthly payroll for 6000 employees;
  • Processing of all statutory payments, alongside company payments where applicable;
  • Processing paperwork for starters, leavers, and changes;
  • Processing all other pay-related data.

Requirements:

  • Dealing with multiple payrolls;
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with people at all levels;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships;
  • Ability to work well and proactively contribute to the wider team;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Previous bureau payroll experience essential;
  • Aware of client needs and expectations- acting promptly to resolve matters in a clear and professional manner;
  • Ensure client deadlines are met and high-quality standards are maintained.
