Payroll Executive Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Payroll Executive to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Organise and prioritise own workload within agreed parameters;
- Handle a cross section of client workloads;
- Processing end to end payroll and overseeing the work of the other payroll team members;
- Raise sales invoices, credit notes, upload to factor accounts and deliver to customers;
- Issue all payslips and self-bill remittances electronically;
- For all PAYE candidates maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with HMRC and AWR requirements;
- Efficiently dealing with all client with agreed timescales;
- Inputting all third party and additional payments and deductions;
- Recording holidays in line with terms and conditions;
- Work closely with on-site administrators at each store to resolve queries;
- Processing payroll each week/month to tight deadlines;
- Managing monthly payroll for 6000 employees;
- Processing of all statutory payments, alongside company payments where applicable;
- Processing paperwork for starters, leavers, and changes;
- Processing all other pay-related data.
Requirements:
- Dealing with multiple payrolls;
- Good communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with people at all levels;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships;
- Ability to work well and proactively contribute to the wider team;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Previous bureau payroll experience essential;
- Aware of client needs and expectations- acting promptly to resolve matters in a clear and professional manner;
- Ensure client deadlines are met and high-quality standards are maintained.
