Product Manager – Insurance Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Product Manager – Insurance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering requirements from key stakeholders and preparing and presenting analysis results;
- Support horizon scanning to identify innovation opportunities;
- Working in close collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues;
- Synthesize and drive product vision and platform strategy based on user research and input from cross-functional stakeholders;
- Evaluate potential innovations to establish the commercial value, risks and implementation considerations for Brit;
- Understand and evaluate complex engineering systems and collaborate closely with engineering to find creative solutions that land well in the market;
- Communicate requirements effectively, and respond to problems responsibly, with technical and non-technical audiences;
- Definition, design, and ownership of innovation product roadmap;
- Setup the team’s innovation/product build techniques and frameworks;
- Collaborate with your team in thinking big, to imagining future solutions that solve these problems;
- Design user journey and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Experienced in product management and/or product design;
- Knowledge of the financial services industry;
- Experienced at working in an agile environment (preferable);
- Has experience in working with or in a start-up (Preference of FinTech or InsurTech);
- Knowledgeable and preferably experienced with programming languages such as: Python, R, .net, Java, VB, PHP, C# and Ruby;
- Have experience leading UX and CX design and implementation;
- Software development experience.
