Our company is looking for a Production Line Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture product to specification within allotted time scales;
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
  • Provide on-going support and training to employees on Lean Manufacturing Improvement techniques;
  • Support the Production Manager in terms of productivity and employee relations/wellbeing;
  • Accountable for health, safety and environmental responsibilities of work area;
  • Ensure that you understand and comply with Health and Safety at Work Regulations at all times;
  • Be flexible in approach to overtime requirements, to meet with customer demand;
  • Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI);
  • Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations;
  • Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures;
  • Liaising with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workers;
  • Assisting in the training and development of new starters;
  • Effectively using the integrated management system (Vision);
  • Effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on a hourly/daily basis;
  • Conducting Right to Work and Disciplinary interviews as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing and assembly experience is required;
  • Knowledge of the industry would be advantageous;
  • Self-motivated, proactive and innovative;
  • People management experience;
  • Computer Literate;
  • Previous joinery shop experience is desirable;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Capable of reading worksheets.
