Our company is looking for a Quotations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the continuous improvement Quotation Work Packages;
  • Identify & drive continuous improvements;
  • Manage the teams to deliver timely and accurate bids for existing and potential new customers;
  • Manage and Co-ordinate the Documentation team;
  • To have good knowledge and hands on experience of using continuous improvement tools, including 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacture;
  • Assist with transition from Bid Stage to NPI as and when required;
  • Manage customer expectations on all bid activity;
  • Responsible for the development of the team including appraisals & monitoring training plans in liaison with the HR department;
  • Understand and promote the Company health & safety requirements;
  • Manage cross departmental activities in order to meet deadlines;
  • Ensure compliance with company codes of conduct;
  • Co-ordinate any cross site bid activity;
  • Provide processes that meet customer needs and expectations;
  • Manage and Co-ordinate the Bid Team;
  • Co-ordinate the review of bids before submission.

Requirements:

  • Commercially astute and customer focused;
  • Educated to degree level or relevant industry experience >5 years;
  • Credible and confident communicator (written & verbal) at all levels;
  • skills;
  • Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook);
  • Highly energised and motivated with a high level of commitment;
  • Ability to prioritise, demonstrating first class organisation skills and time management;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to provide a high quality service;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude;
  • Numerate with strong analytical and problem solving ability;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively using own initiative;
  • Confident communication to customers;
  • Security Cleared would be advantageous;
  • System understanding of CRM tools would be beneficial (Salesforce).
