Regional Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting;
- Providing a link between field sales agents, HQ and the client;
- Visiting and monitoring field sales activities, whilst modelling best practice via your own sales activity;
- Recognising client requirements and converting them into strategies;
- Completing weekly admin tasks via Google Suite and CRM;
- Being the first point of contact for all customer account management matters within your area, building and maintaining strong relationships;
- Attending existing and prospective customer meetings, converting new business opportunities;
- Collaborating with the Sales Team to identify and grow opportunities within your area;
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales;
- Securing additional business from existing clients, identifying areas of improvement to meet revenue targets and activity quotas;
- Providing timely delivery of customer quotations;
- Attending exhibitions, presentations and seminars either within the UK or overseas;
- Proactively following up customer quotations in a timely manner;
- Providing account management to existing customers and developing new revenue streams;
- Ensuring that all business systems and CRM sales reporting requirements are updated accurately on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A proven track record of building long-term relationships with key clients;
- A minimum of three years’ experience in account management (ideally within the marketing or tech industry);
- Experience of leading a sales team working predominantly remotely;
- Experience in Google Suite, CRM and MS Office programs;
- Previous experience in working with targets and KPIs;
- You must be able to multi-task and prioritise work load;
- You will be targeted orientated, keen to learn and have the ability to retain technical information;
- You will be personable, confident and hard-working with a solid and stable work history;
- You MUST have experience of B2B sales.
