Our company is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CFO to create the regulatory reporting framework including governance and controls and the full suite of regulatory returns;
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish appropriate risk-based controls including design of regular management information and metrics;
  • Supply ad hoc credit risk management information, data analysis and interpretation to support decision making;
  • reporting to regulators and other external third parties, such as auditors and banks;
  • Implement changes to reports and processes in compliance with regulations and internal policies;
  • Perform regression testing of existing reports to ensure system changes are correctly implemented;
  • Provide analysis for credit risk related queries from the regulator;
  • Act as single point of contact for regulatory matters and provide assistance to the business in the resolution of regulatory breaches;
  • Produce monthly RWA data analysis, interpretations and reporting used to support budgeting;
  • Policy design for new entities ensuring this meets all regulatory requirements;
  • Work with various stakeholders across the business to effect change (Tech, Operations, Finance, Compliance);
  • Manage license reporting obligations and downstream related processes ensuring timely;
  • Assist with the roll out of their selected regulatory reporting system and integrate with the other core banking systems and general ledger;
  • Management of relationships with Key Stakeholders;
  • Ad hoc project involvement.

Requirements:

  • International experience will be of interest although not essential and / or languages;
  • Successful people management and project management skills;
  • Preferable to have experience of working in client money safeguarding under CASS, E-money, ASIC, or US Transmission Liability regulations;
  • Understand the Payments industry in particular the regulatory requirements of operating within this business line;
  • Strong communication skills very important – role will require communication across different;
  • levels, from junior to senior management. The role requires someone who is confident and clear, and can read/adapt to the audience;
  • Experience with MiFID and EMIR reporting also advantageous;
  • Experience of building relationships with Regulators, auditors and various internal stakeholders;
  • Strong people skills as the candidate will need to be able to effect change across the business entities, particularly around allocation of resources.
