Our company is looking for a Senior Account Manager / Account Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving high retention on controllable client retention;
  • Prioritise projects to match customer needs and expectations;
  • Keep abreast of marketplace and Industry changes to form an understanding and be able to assess the impact to clients;
  • Defining strategic goals per client / client base;
  • Ensure an active communication programme is created to reach a wide audience within the client organisation;
  • Implementation and management of strategies including cost control, technologies, Data, SLA’S & contracts to meet company targets and objectives;
  • Working with the management team to deliver the development plans Visual Method has set out for the next phase of business growth;
  • Ensuring the effective integration and internal communication between the client facing and production teams of the business;
  • Responsible for client success, ensuring programmes and campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to target;
  • Indirectly manage the service delivery team for your client campaigns / programmes;
  • Management of internal budgets, effective and on budget project delivery, quoting projects for new and existing clients and effective cost management;
  • Create and present campaign review presentations and proposals, ensuring they are of the highest standard;
  • The role involves working alongside the Business Development Director to head up the client facing side of the agency;
  • Work on account growth plans – including continuations, renewals, identification of net new opportunities;
  • Managing existing talent within the client facing team, as well as proactively developing and growing the team alongside the business’ growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working as an Account Manager within the travel industry;
  • 4 years + agency experience in a content production environment;
  • Good understanding of travel components such as flights, hotels car hire etc;
  • Experience of developing and overseeing key client accounts;
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail;
  • Excellent communications skills and a track record of building and maintaining existing relationships in the industry is expected;
  • A background having spent time managing production projects, CPA’s, budgets and delivering to and above client expectations is essential;
  • Strategic thinker;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • An understanding of CGI technology, broad horizons and a willingness to adapt and learn;
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/ diploma or similar in sales, advertising or marketing is beneficial but not essential;
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and concepts is required;
  • Analytical and commercially strong;
  • Management of photography, image and video or content creation projects is essential.
