Our company is looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Total Profit & Loss (Gross Profit level) accountability for the business / Customer relationship and budgeted scorecard delivery;
  • Jointly responsible with Marketing and Finance for the creation and delivery of category strategies;
  • Challenging invalid invoices and invalid audit claims;
  • Securing NPD listing, agreeing the launch & support plan;
  • Supporting and building brands, licensed brands and retailer brands;
  • Educating colleagues on how to win with your customers and meet their strategic agenda;
  • Building a strong working relationship with the Marketing Manager and Finance Business Partner ensuring you act as “One Team” across the business;
  • Forecast accuracy +/- 10% at Customer Level & SKU Group Level;
  • All promotions are signed off internally and agreed with customers 6 weeks ahead of in-store date;
  • Ensure that customers are paying to terms and challenged if necessary;
  • Written Business Plans / Supplier Agreement with named accounts;
  • Delivering Excellent Customer Service as Standard” with named customers;
  • Full P&L ownership and improvement with named customers;
  • Development and ownership of the contact and customer strategy;
  • Leading the delivery of 98.5% customer service level.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years FMCG Account Management experience;
  • Passion for Food;
  • A level calibre, preferably with a University business related degree;
  • Strong understanding of P&L;
  • Ideally some line management experience;
  • Lively, energetic, “How can we…” attitude;
  • Proven track record of success within Sales including business development;
  • Desire to build the businesses;
  • Highly numerate & computer literate;
  • Passionate about making things happen;
  • Resilient/Tenacious.
