Our company is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating prototypes to test your ideas, challenge assumptions and refine your thinking;
  • creating visual stimulus and prototypes for experimentation and regular user testing;
  • Identify and communicate cross-team dependencies;
  • To grow the product design function, mentor junior Product Designers and evangelise internally;
  • User and client facing;
  • Support product marketing initiatives to grow Velocity Black in the UK and US;
  • Driving the output of the creative production design team, supporting and advising with new concepts for client briefs working within budget;
  • Mentoring Designers on the team, giving direction and guidance as needed;
  • Turning complex data-sets into digestible business insight;
  • Ensure smooth journey flows between products;
  • Working with our Tel Aviv UX and Design team as needed to ensure a consistent user journey throughout the Product experience;
  • Communicating effectively internally with teams and Directors providing client updates;
  • Proactively reach out to stakeholders across the business to reveal member insights that can be used in the design of interfaces and experiences;
  • Primarily focusing on hotels and experiences booking, but could extend to other projects;
  • Offer constructive feedback at daily design reviews and contributing to the wider design culture.

Requirements:

  • Significant industry experience with a successful track record of delivery;
  • You will have exceptional working knowledge of Sketch and prototyping tools;
  • You’ll bring expertise ideally from experience designing for transactional, ecommerce or travel digital sites and/or Apps;
  • Experience working in squads/multi-disciplinary teams is preferred;
  • You’re able to run workshops or sprints with stakeholders and squad members;
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating superior user experience design skills for problems of sizeable scope and complexity;
  • You have substantial experience running projects through a complete UX process from understanding, ideation, prototyping, testing, design and delivery;
  • You have experience running some kind of User Research on your own (such as testing prototypes with users);
  • Actively support more junior members of the team with practical advice and guidance;
  • Strong UX experience where decisions are driven by data and customer insight;
  • Expert use of major design and prototyping tools (we use Figma primarily, but you might use other tools);
  • You are able to juggle several workstreams, ensuring a high quality of work is delivered on time;
  • The successful candidate will likely have at least 6 years’ relevant experience;
  • Experience developing and evolving design standards in early-stage companies, or re-designing experiences and standards in an organisation;
  • Developing design process/ systems for mobile products.
