Senior Revenue Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with operational and business teams to ensure accuracy of financial records and to leverage results commercially;
- Maintain and contribute to internal controls structure to ensure accurate financial reporting;
- Develop strong technical accounting understanding of US GAAP, specifically in relation to Revenue Accounting;
- Lead and support improvement initiatives for revenue processes;
- To review and reconcile revenues and costs, ensuring accurate accounting;
- Other tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant or finalist in CIMA, ACCA or ACA;
- Sound understanding of accounting principles;
- Revenue recognition;
- Experience within a US Software company is desirable.
