Senior Store Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Store Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a leadership role in community and charity events;
- Responsible for achieving store shrinkage goals and for the establishment and implementation of both new and existing loss prevention procedures;
- Directly responsible for sales and profit performance in store, ensuring that all sales, margin and KPI goals are met;
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection, supervision and development of store staff;
- Provide consistent feedback to buyers and planners to identify items and merchandise classifications of high sales and profit potential;
- Coach and mentor direct reports to achieve optimal results including succession planning for current and future positions;
- Partner with the Store Director to develop operating budgets and monitor performance.
Requirements:
- Is confident in using various digital tools and applications as a method to best service the customer;
- Has a background in retail sales and/or in a customer service facing role;
- Possesses and displays motivation and excitement within the specialist area;
- Ability to work in high-stress situations effectively without compromising their team’s success;
- Excellent networking skills and customer relationship management;
- Has a background in sports or currently involved with a sports team/activity;
- Knowledge and skills in driving financial results.
