Service Design Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service Design Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of internal and external resources required to support design activities;
- Attendance of client meetings to act as a SME on Ultima Managed Services.
Requirements:
- Attendance of customer sales meetings to act as a SME on Ultima Managed Services;
- Ownership of relevant supplier assessments and onboarding processes and documentation;
- Creation of competitor analysis reviews to assess prospective services against the wider market;
- Attendance of relevant Industry events to understand emerging market trends;
- Creation of regular Service Design related business reporting;
- Experience working for a managed service provider, delivering fully outsourced services;
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an IT Role, with a broad technical background across cloud, onprem DC, EUC;
- Creation of all service design related documents including but not limited to SDP’s and business cases;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Regular reviews with the Ultima Pre Sales department to understand customer demand for IT Services;
- 2 years’ experience in a comparable Design or Service Architect role;
- Financial and commercial awareness;
- Minimum ITIL Foundation certification;
- Attendance and leadership of customer service discovery and validation workshops;
- Coordination of internal and external resources required to support the design process.
