Supply Chain Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting;
- Budgeting;
- Act as a primary contact for distribution and supply & sales;
- Support implementation of Supply Chain projects as required;
- Overall responsibility of liaising with subcontractors/suppliers to ensure allocation of work;
- Monitor and supply any required performance metrics (fulfilment, waste, order levels etc.);
- Ensuring that all incoming documentation is processed correctly and that all checklists are fully completed;
- Undertake timely communication with key PM stakeholders in most appropriate format (virtual, phone, face to face);
- Receiving and accepting Distributor orders as well as raising Purchase Orders;
- To build, maintain and enhance relationships directly with our external clients, supplies, operations team and central departments;
- Raising invoices for shipments to Canada;
- Receiving of purchase orders into Arvato Distribution Centre ensuring all data is correct in SAP B1;
- Lead as the main contact between internal contacts and our logistics partner organisations;
- Flag and manage any stock allocation between customers required in the case of stock unavailability;
- Manage the quarterly and end of year full stocktake processes – liaising with the Purchasing team for best practice implementation.
Requirements:
- Ideally background of logistic/sales /distribution/warehousing;
- Able to carry out detailed analysis and present in a way that is easily understood throughout the business;
- Excellent commercial acumen;
- Flexible approach to travel;
- Knowledge and experience of the food industry is essential;
- Extensive written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to organize and manage workload;
- Experience of short shelf life products;
- Degree qualified or equivalent;
- A proactive self-starter confident to work within customer;
- MS Office (word, excel) essential;
- Experience of retail supply chain or planning role;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- High level of interpersonal skills including ability to be able to interact with Suppliers and agents and Reservations and Sales Manager;
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations.
