UK Financial Controller Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a UK Financial Controller to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cash flow forecasting and budgeting;
- Co-ordination of all aspects of management accounting;
- Leadership and guidance of the UK accounting team;
- Ensuring compliance with Group financial policies and FRS 102;
- Assistance in redeveloping and improving internal reports to make them more user-friendly;
- Supporting Global Business Services Directors in budgeting;
- Responsible for managing the financial accounting, covering the management of financial and general accounting including any new system upgrades;
- Management of transactional finance team including AP, AR, Payroll and credit control;
- Managing the external audit process;
- Working with CFO and MD to understand and influence business results through effective analysis and decision making;
- Oversight of VAT and Intrastat;
- Responsible for the statutory financial accounts of all UK entities;
- Managing the budget preparation and subsequent reforecasting.
