Partner Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Partner Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and provide sales enablement to new partners;
- Run generic demos for partners;
- Meet regularly with colleagues in sales and marketing to ensure alignment and execute on partner go-to-market efforts;
- Drive account mapping efforts with partners and facilitate coordination with HyperScience account executives;
- Manage and drive regular joint go-to-market action items with partner stakeholders;
- Lead all partner efforts in EMEA;
- Assisting Client Partners and Client Managers to uncover opportunities for our partners and clients,
- Facilitating vendor Quarterly Business reviews and ensuring outcomes are followed-up;
- Upon building success within your role there is an opportunity to develop a team of commercial partner managers;
- Familiarising and managing a selection of partner relationships;
- Supporting new business opportunities;
- Handling both internal and external requests regarding commercial partner queries,
- Identifying, evaluate and onboard new partners;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors across their organisation, understanding their technology, commercial and product propositions;
- Negotiating partner and other financial agreements, ensure revenue targets are achieved and produce regular partner dept reports,
Requirements:
- Experience in working directly with partners within enterprise software space (optional);
- Keen analytical and problem solving skills, and a belief that every problem has at least one solution;
- Ability to influence both technical and executive audiences;
- 5+ years experience in a partnerships, business development, consulting, or corporate development role;
- Curiosity to learn and assimilate information quickly, enthusiasm to share and teach others;
- Ability to travel up to 25-50%
- Experience working with legal agreements and contracts;
- A passion for enterprise software, and a philosophy of using technology to help solve business problems;
- Ability to build long term business relationships;
- Good computer skills (Word/PowerPoint);
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite along with highly defined presentation skills;
- Driving licence;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Previous experience of selling and demonstrating software solutions;
- Ability to respond to detailed requests (tenders/proposals) in a comprehensive, thoughtful and compelling manner.
