Our company is looking for a Audio Visual Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed page-turn with General and Electrical contractors to ensure that proper backing and pathways are provided, as per specifications;
  • Pro-actively communicate project status and risk to internal and external stakeholders regularly throughout the project;
  • Determine appropriate project team staffing requirements and ensure requirements are adequately met;
  • Solicit quotes from qualified subcontractors as required;
  • Coordinate with furniture providers to ensure that AV spaces are properly scoped and configured;
  • Coordinate activities with the general contractor, construction manager, owner and other trades as required;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Oversee the Test, or certify the performance of, installed systems;
  • Coordinate and/or provide training to client;
  • Responsible for supervision of all personnel and activities on the project site;
  • Reporting;
  • Procurement of Material;
  • Project Communications (including reporting internally and externally to all stakeholders as required, daily site reporting, as built updates);
  • All aspects of the onsite delivery of the project (including all H&S and Environmental responsibilities, logistics);
  • Assisting Technical Manager and Design Consultant with tenders.

Requirements:

  • AV Support or Engineering experience a plus;
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve technical, personnel or other project related issue;
  • Previous experience managing Audio Visual installation and refresh projects in existing and new construction environments;
  • Exceptional organisational and control skills;
  • PMP certification preferred;
  • Ability to create and maintain project programmes;
  • Ability to supervise and manage tasks and personnel to meet project objectives;
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be eligible to work in the EU;
  • Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Will possess or acquire a fundamental understanding of AV system functionality and installation process and techniques;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD viewing or mark-up utilities;
  • Knowledge of Google AV solutions a plus;
  • Ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondence;
  • 5+ years of experience in project management required.
