Responsibilities:
- Thinking and acting strategically with the intention of strengthening Nervora’s and Wired Middle East’s brand and position within the market;
- Writing stories and producing multimedia content across Wired Middle East’s platforms at the appropriate volumes required;
- The ability to represent Vogue Business internally and externally, on stage and TV, to the fashion, luxury and publishing industries;
- Experience launching new digital editorial products — such as websites, newsletters, apps, social media accounts — is beneficial;
- Guiding a team of writers and contributors for content development and publishing across channels;
- Representing Wired Middle East at industry and brand events;
- Leading and overseeing a world-class digital editorial team;
- The ability to move back and forth between creative and managerial challenges;
- Significant leadership experience as a digital editor in a multi-national publishing company;
- Recruiting speakers and setting the agenda for events;
- Create high-quality content that stands out and is relevant;
- Act as the brand representative;
- Cost-effective deployment of resources – both staff and money;
- Ensuring that all content published in the journal is of high quality and covers the spectrum of research in the journal’s scope;
- Participation in tutorials programme for new staff as required.
