Our company is looking for a Chief Editor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Thinking and acting strategically with the intention of strengthening Nervora’s and Wired Middle East’s brand and position within the market;
  • Writing stories and producing multimedia content across Wired Middle East’s platforms at the appropriate volumes required;
  • The ability to represent Vogue Business internally and externally, on stage and TV, to the fashion, luxury and publishing industries;
  • Experience launching new digital editorial products — such as websites, newsletters, apps, social media accounts — is beneficial;
  • Guiding a team of writers and contributors for content development and publishing across channels;
  • Representing Wired Middle East at industry and brand events;
  • Leading and overseeing a world-class digital editorial team;
  • The ability to move back and forth between creative and managerial challenges;
  • Significant leadership experience as a digital editor in a multi-national publishing company;
  • Recruiting speakers and setting the agenda for events;
  • Create high-quality content that stands out and is relevant;
  • Act as the brand representative;
  • Cost-effective deployment of resources – both staff and money;
  • Ensuring that all content published in the journal is of high quality and covers the spectrum of research in the journal’s scope;
  • Participation in tutorials programme for new staff as required.
