Financial Reporter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Reporter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Source and write off diary news on the power and energy market;
- Travel internationally to conferences and events and act as an ambassador for the brand;
- Break exclusive news and write commentaries and features;
- Interview leading investors and build your network of financial professionals;
- Build relationships with market insiders and uncover leads;
- Attend industry events and act as a brand ambassador;
- Write long form analysis articles on the market.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Russian or a Central European language will be advantageous;
- NCTJ or a good degree from a top university;
- Interest in infrastructure markets and/or project finance;
- Ability to build strong relationships;
- At least 6 months experience as a financial reporter;
- 6+ months experience as a financial journalist;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent writing and communication skills;
- Interest in renewables and/or energy market;
- Willingness to build relationships with senior legal and financial contacts.
