Production Assistant

Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring the production quality of all promotionals, commercials, and public service announcements. Coordinates and schedules all aspects of production to meet deadlines. Being a Production Assistant assists with set-up of equipment on production shoots and other control room duties. May operate equipment and peripheral systems used in video production including audio console and teleprompter. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Production Assistant typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.

Our company is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dispensing /labelling machines;
  • Work according to approved documentation;
  • Workplace maintenance;
  • Drawing up the Certificate of Analysis;
  • To dispense and label reagents;
  • Assist with general product helpdesk enquiries;
  • Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments;
  • Ensuring all orders are processed within budget, meeting specific deadlines and to high quality set by Everpress;
  • Ordering and managing stock for all samples, bulk orders and campaigns related to the Content Creator and Charities team;
  • Working with a wide range of people from the most senior to the most junior, willing to both listen carefully and challenge hard;
  • Preparation of PCB boards;
  • Day-to-day task and progress tracking and reporting across the team;
  • Occasional Warehouse work;
  • Preparing and packing players ready for despatch;
  • Ensure areas are inspected/maintained in accordance with local Health and Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Meticulously organised;
  • Familiarity with a variety of project management and bug tracking software (e.g. Jira, DevTrack, Trello, etc.);
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Fanatical about details;
  • Reliable, honest and hardworking;
  • Recent University graduate;
  • Keen to learn;
  • Ability to manage a busy inbox;
  • Work to the required high-quality standards;
  • Must be a team player;
  • Previous experience using photoshop and knowledge of printing useful but not essential;
  • At least 1 year experience in a production and/or logistics role;
  • Experience working to deadlines and ability to time manage across multiple tasks;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
