Social Media Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be creating/updating marketing material;
- Invite new Facebook followers via “invite” facility;
- You’ll be creating new content using the Adobe Suite;
- Oversee the quality of all content, including by contributors, to ensure tone of voice has consistency and engagement rates are maintained;
- You’ll be monitoring and reporting on engagement across the social platforms;
- Organise and brief relevant exhibition information and content;
- Share relevant content from SOE channels – recommended approx. twice a week;
- Provide social media advice and pitches for activity across the company;
- Support the marketing manager with any other marketing functions;
- Share relevant content from Massingberd-Mundy Kawasaki channels – recommended approx. once a week;
- Plan and manage social media campaigns;
- Within the first 28 days, and with assistance from the marketing consultant, develop content rules for contributors;
- Keep a watching brief over all campaign activity, monitoring quality, checking feeds and advising or prompting appropriate responses;
- Extent content over the company’s own digital platforms;
- Post original content to all Massingberd-Mundy social media channels – minimum of three times a week.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Adobe creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and potentially Premiere Pro;
- Knowledge and interest in motorcycling;
- Passion/ knowledge in all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In etc) and e-commerce platforms;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent communication & team spirit;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Excel and Word;
- Good English and maths;
- A good knowledge of Adobe creative suite, a basic knowledge of Video editing;
- Good knowledge of all social media platforms.
