Our company is looking for a Technical Bid Writer (Engineering) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to work well within teams of resource to deliver winning bids;
  • Updating CRM;
  • Identify the technical requirements for each bid and will agree with the Sales Office Manager on the bid strategy;
  • Set out bid expectation and meet agreed deadlines;
  • Own the technical response of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), Bids and Tenders;
  • Comply with company standards, procedures and protocols with specific responsibility for performance to key performance indicators;
  • Be decisive and be able to meet timelines for delivering high quality proposals to tight deadlines;
  • Defining the exact requirements of the customer in order to generate an accurate quotation;
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with sales staff, BDMs and proposition leads;
  • Continue to raise the standard and quality of bids to increase bid win ratio.

Requirements:

  • Business administration and technical proposal writing;
  • Maintain understanding of the company’s core capabilities;
  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial sector bid requirements;
  • Experience of commercial tendering;
  • HNC/HND in electrical engineering or related discipline;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Must have experience and knowledge of the DNOs, PNOs, Oil and Gas.
