Our company is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team.


  • Provide software support for clients for technical and development queries;
  • Become a subject matter expert in the business data and learn how the data supports the business goals, operations and processes;

  • Responsible for delivering data and information to the business to enable senior management to make better and more informed decisions;
  • Document all work and communications to a high professional standard;
  • Use of programming skills to provide technical solutions to client issues;
  • Translates project requirements into functional and technical specifications;
  • Ensure all work meets prescribed standards in design and quality;
  • Develop and implement tactical and strategic data warehousing solutions;
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of delivery and assist in the enhancement of reporting methodologies;
  • Work with people from across the organisation to gather and understand business requirements and deliver these into actionable reports and analytics;
  • Developing database using SSIS, SSRS, SQL server and OLAP cube;
  • Providing user support and OLAP cube training;
  • Working closely with business users to understand business reporting and integration requirements;
  • Working closely with external partners for integration solution implementation.


  • Normal business hours are between 9am – 8pm Mon-Thurs, 9am – 5.30pm Friday, 10am – 2pm Sat;
  • SQL;
  • SSIS;
  • Power BI;
  • Excel;
  • Relational Database Design;
  • As we are regulated by the FCA we are unable to take applications from anyone with a history of bankruptcy, IVAs or CCJs;
  • Able to work 37.5hrs per week on a flexible basis;
  • Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS);
  • DAX (desirable);
  • Great communication skills and able to interact with all levels of stakeholder;
  • C# (preferred), Python or Java;
  • T-SQL and Management Studio (2008 R2 and 2012);
  • An inquisitive and problem-solving mind-set;
  • Visual Studio.
