Our company is looking for a Care Co-Ordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to Core Values, policies and procedures;
  • Contributing to the recruitment and assessment of new carers;

  • To support workshop training by obtaining a relevant qualification;
  • Ensure all Care Givers submit their timesheets weekly which are accurately completed, and match these to what is on the system;
  • To plan ahead to cover holidays, training and planned absence;
  • Take part in the On Call out of hours’ service as required;
  • To identify and match the most suitable Care Givers for each package;
  • Work with recruitment personnel to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels;
  • Ensure that the care worker rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned taking into account travel time;
  • Organise and coordinate Care Services;
  • To answer the telephone promptly and professionally, dealing with any enquiries or queries;
  • To be accountable to the Registered Manager for the smooth running of day to day Client/ Care Giver communication;
  • Ensure the provision of high quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home;
  • Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of “Good” in CQC inspections.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in planning, scheduling, prioritising and time management;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships;
  • Has the desire to make a real difference and greatly improve an already well-established business;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Relevant qualification, such as Business Studies or Social Care – Desirable;
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle;
  • Extremely well organized, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail;
  • Management and supervisory experience;
  • Use of a scheduling / HR / recording system – Desirable;
  • Ability to work unsupervised;
  • Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads;
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on call system for out of office hours;
  • Previous Domiciliary Care experience – Desirable;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Strong written communication skills.
