Our company is looking for a Delivery Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support and enable a cross-functional team (which may include customer staff) through all aspects of product development;
- Manage delivery in collaboration with client stakeholders, ensuring appropriate tracking, reporting and governance;
- Continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating and managing uncertainty;
- Manage dependencies, constraints and overcome obstacles;
- Accountable for successful outcome both for Valtech and the customer;
- Resource demand/capacity management;
- Burn down charts & other relevant metrics;
- Financial management, value assessment and realisation;
- Foster a strong feedback loop between the Product team and key stakeholders;
- Analyse, visualise, and report on core Product Delivery metrics;
- Full end to end RAID management;
- Drive focus to what is most important to product development – objectives and business outcomes;
- You’ll promptly and effectively deal with unforeseen risks as they arise;
- Identify, assess, and unblock obstacles that impact a Product team;
- Engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders up to and including the Executive team and with material external suppliers.
Requirements:
- Manage the operational relationships with all suppliers and put in place monitoring;
- Champion excellence in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality;
- NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Certification, Units 1, 10-16;
- Experience in a similar local-market driven business;
- Facilitating difficult conversations with team members or stakeholders;
- Identifying problems or blockers and helping the team and the client resolve them;
- Engaging with senior stakeholders;
- Maintaining a clear picture of the progress of the project;
- Clear, professional, human, and effective writing skills;
- Manage projected budgets and expenditure;
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject, MBA or equivalent IT experience preferred;
- Experienced with Kanban;
- Experience running scrum teams;
- Java, C/C++, Python programming experience;
- Strong client facing/awareness.
