Finance Business Partner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce the month-end pack with commentary and variance analysis for review and sign-off by FC;
- Collaborate with the Business Controller to produce forecasts;
- Provide advice and guidance to budget holders;
- Play a key role within finance for various projects, coordinating with Commercial teams and Group Finance to ensure tight deadlines are adhered to;
- Delivery of month-end Overheads for all Operations cost centres, monitoring and challenging spend to budget/forecast;
- Lead on forecasting, driving sales performance, risk mitigation, identification of opportunities, sales optimisation;
- Development of KPI and MI reporting suites;
- Assisting with the reporting of month end results, evaluating the services on offer and executing regular analysis of revenue;
- Operation of open book pricing models with Co manufacturing partners and key retailers;
- Support the arrangements in place for financial management of the Capital Programme;
- Plan and manage the annual budget-setting process; draft budgets and scenarios to enable business planning and decision making;
- Support the financial and project execution function of the business;
- Annual budgets and forecasts;
- Financial analysis and commentary to support new business opportunities and cost reduction initiatives;
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, business change programs and other projects.
Requirements:
- Ability work in fast paced professional environment;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure of tight deadlines;

- Solid understanding of revenue recognition and accounting principles;
- Self-starter attitude with strong communication skills;
- 5 Years accounting experience;
- Bid Processes;
- Fully qualified accountant – ACMA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA;
- Established business partner with proven expertise influencing senior stakeholders;
- Excellent understanding with accounting IT packages and systems;
- Experience of FMCG or fast paced environment preferred within the Commercial sector preferred;
