Our company is looking for a Hotel Receptionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with online bookings;
  • Providing excellent customer service;
  • Ordering transport;
  • Process all guest check-ins/check outs by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key;
  • Answering a switchboard and directing calls;
  • Ensuring the meeting rooms are well presented and ready for use;
  • General administration tasks;
  • Dealing with both incoming and outgoing post;
  • Diary Management;
  • Respond to Guest queries in a timely and consistent efficient manner;
  • Ensure that both the Reception Manager and Reception Supervisors are aware of any relevant feedback from Guests and/or other departments;
  • Dealing with complaints and other situations;
  • The Reception team are responsible for dealing with enquires and taking bookings for bedrooms, restaurant reservations, functions and weddings;
  • Checking-in and checking-out;
  • Meeting and greeting members and their guests.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills;
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry;
  • Excellent grooming standards;
  • Completed high school certificate or equivalent;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service;
  • Experience within the hotel industry (advantageous but not essential);
  • Competent level of IT proficiency;
  • Well presented;
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team;
  • Previous experience within a Receptionist/ customer facing role.
