Our company is looking for a HR Generalist – Maternity Cover to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Invigilate Software Certification tests on Saturdays (2-3 Saturday’s a month. Around 4 hours);
  • Collate and update monthly payroll changes including overtime and bonus payments;
  • Management of Software Certification Learning and Development project;
  • Maintaining an awareness of current HR legislation and employment law;
  • Management of employee benefit queries as well as the management of the benefits portal;
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders and provide guidance on a variety of ER issues;
  • Responsibility for the management of employee engagement activities such as the Christmas Party, Summer BBQ etc;
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to support operational activity;
  • Supporting managers, team leaders and employees on HR policies and practices;
  • Update the Learning Management System with new courses and participates;
  • Manage the Learning and Development Activity and Programs.

Requirements:

  • Immediately available;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Commercially and practically minded with a hands-on approach;
  • Experience working in a highly demanding team environment with the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities;
  • Must have strong administrative and organisational skills;
  • Experience in IT / high-tech industries;
  • Good analytical and creative thinking skills, a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems and to communicate ideas well;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on own initiative as required, but contribute to a team ethos;
  • Ability to learn and implement Samsung Electronics corporate business philosophies;
  • A very high level of presentation, communication and planning skills;
  • CIPD qualified, ideally Level 5;
  • Highly motivated, deadline focused with the ability to consistently maintain high level of accuracy;
  • HR Generalist experienced in a commercial HR Department, with an understanding of local employment law and best practice;
  • Evidences a collaborative approach, working well with a broad group of colleagues;
  • Strong project management skills.
