HR Generalist – Maternity Cover Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a HR Generalist – Maternity Cover to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Invigilate Software Certification tests on Saturdays (2-3 Saturday’s a month. Around 4 hours);
- Collate and update monthly payroll changes including overtime and bonus payments;
- Management of Software Certification Learning and Development project;
- Maintaining an awareness of current HR legislation and employment law;
- Management of employee benefit queries as well as the management of the benefits portal;
- Liaise with senior stakeholders and provide guidance on a variety of ER issues;
- Responsibility for the management of employee engagement activities such as the Christmas Party, Summer BBQ etc;
- Work with the HR Business Partner to support operational activity;
- Supporting managers, team leaders and employees on HR policies and practices;
- Update the Learning Management System with new courses and participates;
- Manage the Learning and Development Activity and Programs.
Requirements:
- Immediately available;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Commercially and practically minded with a hands-on approach;
- Experience working in a highly demanding team environment with the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities;
- Must have strong administrative and organisational skills;
- Experience in IT / high-tech industries;
- Good analytical and creative thinking skills, a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems and to communicate ideas well;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and on own initiative as required, but contribute to a team ethos;
- Ability to learn and implement Samsung Electronics corporate business philosophies;
- A very high level of presentation, communication and planning skills;
- CIPD qualified, ideally Level 5;
- Highly motivated, deadline focused with the ability to consistently maintain high level of accuracy;
- HR Generalist experienced in a commercial HR Department, with an understanding of local employment law and best practice;
- Evidences a collaborative approach, working well with a broad group of colleagues;
- Strong project management skills.
