IFA Administrator Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a IFA Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Compiling preparation packs for client meetings;
  • Producing detailed reports;
  • Creating client portfolios;
  • To produce accurate, regular and ad-hoc client valuation schedules, and input into Intelligent Office;
  • Liaising with clients and answering queries, and chasing providers;
  • Inputting data on internal systems ensuring the information is accurate and up to date;
  • Presenting financial recommendations to Directors;
  • Managing cash balances and cash movements;
  • Working with the Investment committee;
  • Recording fact find information;
  • Fund switch processing;
  • Provide quality administration and analytical support to planners and clients;
  • Prepare valuation and suitability reports for existing clients;
  • Downloading Financial Services Wealth Accounts and client valuations;
  • Co-ordinating and carrying out post-meeting activities.

Requirements:

  • Maintaining accuracy of client information and assisting with the on-going management of the client;
  • Not Essential;
  • Administration of both new and existing business, ensuring compliance and process procedures are followed;
  • Interacting with clients in an efficient and professional manner;
  • Must have previously worked in a similar role;
  • Experienced using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook;
  • Able to work as part of a team, or if required, under your own initiative;
  • Able to work to deadlines;
  • Able to forge and develop relationships;
  • Willing to learn and develop;
  • Must have a keen eye for detail;
  • Work as part of a shift rota pattern of 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm, 10am – 6pm;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Effective organisational and planning skills;
  • Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout.
