Legal PA Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Legal PA to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manning of telephone system/lunchtime cover;
- Preparation of presentations;
- Typing up all types of documents/letters/emails/deeds/lasting powers of attorney/client invoices;
- Organising meetings, travel arrangements etc;
- Complex document production and amendments;
- Cheque requisitions;
- Fast and accurate typing;
- Maintaining external legal counsel database;
- Undertaking all client filing management and archiving tasks;
- Document production skills;
- Arranging training needs for the Group’s company structure database as necessary;
- Assistance with KYC queries when required and running background checks – cover for the part-time compliance administrator;
- Arranging notarisation and legalisation of documentation for overseas purposes;
- Opening and closing client files in line with Real Estate and Firm policies;
- Preparing Court documents.
Requirements:
- A real muck in attitude with the ability to juggle multiple tasks;
- Flexibility;
- Degree calibre or equivalent;
- Accurate typing;
- Experience managing legal documentation is advantageous;
- Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent verbal and written;
- 2+ legal PA experience;
- Arranging appointments and meetings;
- Progress client matters;
- Experience in working in a Family, Private client or Property department;
- Operating the firms Case Management System;
