Planner / Scheduler Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Planner / Scheduler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out any other duties as might be reasonably requested by your line manager;
  • To demonstrate the values of the business at all times and in all situations with clients, customers and staff;
  • To advise customers of timescales and appointments;
  • To ensure that all relevant health and safety, equality and diversity legislation and Company procedures are complied with at all times;
  • To prepare management information on a range of key performance indicators;
  • Updating the database to ensure all queries and resolutions are logged;
  • Undertake operative admin tasks including scheduling follow on appointments, ordering parts etc;
  • Make calls to customers to discuss and resolve repairs issues, escalating issues to supervisors as and when required;
  • Undertake follow up work, ensuring satisfactory conclusion to the appointments;
  • Liaise with teams, supervisors and Operatives providing accurate information, job details to enable works be carried out.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work from home environment;
  • A good attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Experience of working within repairs and maintenance either within Housing, Local Government or contractors;
  • Exceptional Customer Service experience, ideally within a demanding environment;
  • Excellent telephone communications and influencing skills;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging atmosphere.
