Senior IT Support Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer network hardware and applications;
- On call service in case of emergency (Fire, flood, etc.) in the office;
- Prepare documentation and reports for processes within the company;
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with employees and other professionals promoting good IT practices;
- Communication room maintenance and environment monitoring;
- Communicate with external vendors and Global IT teams to resolve problems;
- Provide IT training for newcomers related to EPAM Systems infrastructure;
- Support colleagues regarding IT requests/incidents (hardware/software);
- Provide estimations;
- Maintain and update assets inventory.
Requirements:
- Experience with office relocation and remote support;
- Microsoft AD, Hyper V, SCCM, SQL Server, Windows Server 2012 and later;
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP server configuration);
- Good communication skills and problem-solving attitude;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server management (Active Directory, WSUS, 3rd party antivirus service);
- Capable to work in a team in a multi-level organization;
- Advanced knowledge level administering Microsoft Windows based systems (Win 10);
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012;
- Willing to learn new technologies and respond quickly to new challenges;
- Switch Configuration and implementation;
- Firewall Configuration and Management;
- PowerShell scripting;
- User-friendly attitude willing to help employees solving their daily issues with IT infrastructure;
- Backups, HA, DR;
- Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and/or SfB, OneDrive).
