Our company is looking for a Service Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management experience;
- Reviewing and analysing department KPI and financial reports, and motivating staff to exceed objectives;
- Making sure all the servicing work that takes place in your branch is carried out correctly, competently and on time;
- To lead the team at the site providing operational and strategic direction;
- To become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users;
- it’s a varied role in an organisation that’s leading the way in supporting those with learning disabilities;
- Making sure everything runs smoothly and cost-effectively;
- Staff absence management and staff development;
- Manage day to day operations of the service;
- Receive and make calls to professionals dealing with queries and recording efficiently;
- Overseeing the provision of high-quality care by participating, observing and sharing experience;
- Carrying out performance reviews with team members and agreeing action plans to develop and identify training needs;
- Have knowledge, understanding and experience of CQC requirements and clinical governance;
- Weekly reporting to Snr Management Team;
- Ensure incident management is complete to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- Broad understanding in reviewing commercial contracts and statements of works;
- Excellent Service Management knowledge and skills;
- Ability to prioritise between change, request and fault type activity;
- Ability to stay calm under pressure;
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate your team to achieve success;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Full driving licence;
- Lead and Develop your team to delivery high quality care;
- A non-judgemental, positive attitude;
- Solid experience of managing a small team;
- Ability to set customer expectations;
- Previous experience of deputising/leading a team within a Care Home or similar environment;
- RMN or RNLD;
- Mechanical experience;
- Maintain a good level of fitness as there will be a requirement to move machinery.
