Our company is looking for a Site Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractors, review and sign off payment certificates, review timesheets and set production targets;
  • Workflow management;
  • Supervision, coordination and monitoring of sub-contractors performance;
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s quality procedures and ISO 9001;
  • Assist with pricing, programming and on site operations;
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice;
  • Onsite management of multiple contract works producing safety documentation method statements and quality plans;
  • Chase cost reduction and efficiency initiatives with site teams;
  • Progress reporting to the board of Directors;
  • Review finance with senior management, monitoring financial and commercial performance of contracts;
  • Site Set up and documentation preparation;
  • Health and Safety on site;
  • Communicate contract and client requirements to site engineers/supervisors & teams onsite;
  • Direct in-situ testing, lab test schedules and control of samples;
  • Ensuring all site activities are running smoothly and to schedule.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the Geotechnical industry with good understanding of ground conditions, drilling and site investigation works;
  • Knowledge of GPS operated plant;
  • Proficient in Microsoft project and Microsoft office;
  • Experience in structural concrete;
  • Ability to analyse, question and follow specifications is desirable;
  • Experience of Design Build works;
  • Good understanding of the geotechnical processes and contract management;
  • Ability to resource work activities in an efficient manner;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Excellent written English and IT skills (Microsoft office, database maintenance and reporting);
  • 3D cad experience would be advantageous;
  • Strong work ethic and desire for career progression.
