Site Agent Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Site Agent to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Management of subcontractors, review and sign off payment certificates, review timesheets and set production targets;
- Workflow management;
- Supervision, coordination and monitoring of sub-contractors performance;
- Ensure compliance with the company’s quality procedures and ISO 9001;
- Assist with pricing, programming and on site operations;
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice;
- Onsite management of multiple contract works producing safety documentation method statements and quality plans;
- Chase cost reduction and efficiency initiatives with site teams;
- Progress reporting to the board of Directors;
- Review finance with senior management, monitoring financial and commercial performance of contracts;
- Site Set up and documentation preparation;
- Health and Safety on site;
- Communicate contract and client requirements to site engineers/supervisors & teams onsite;
- Direct in-situ testing, lab test schedules and control of samples;
- Ensuring all site activities are running smoothly and to schedule.
Requirements:
- Experience within the Geotechnical industry with good understanding of ground conditions, drilling and site investigation works;
- Knowledge of GPS operated plant;
- Proficient in Microsoft project and Microsoft office;
- Experience in structural concrete;
- Ability to analyse, question and follow specifications is desirable;
- Experience of Design Build works;
- Good understanding of the geotechnical processes and contract management;
- Ability to resource work activities in an efficient manner;
- Full UK driving licence;
- Degree in Civil Engineering;
- Ability to work to deadlines;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Excellent written English and IT skills (Microsoft office, database maintenance and reporting);
- 3D cad experience would be advantageous;
- Strong work ethic and desire for career progression.
