Stock Controller & Office Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Stock Controller & Office Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone based support for branch/customer/supplier queries;
- When necessary assisting with repatriation of stock;
- Computer literate – Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) plus training will be given on in-house system;
- Willingness to gain product knowledge to assist in accuracy of operations;
- Diligence and individual discipline to work for periods of time unsupervised;
- Attention to detail required in particular with regard numeracy;
- Provide support for branch stock discrepancies whether caused by system or procedural errors;
- Manage branch/customer direct delivery requests;
- Teamwork to enable overall compliance with team goals;
- Warehouse – Carry out stock counts and investigations;
- Liaise with customers and/or their vet to obtain new prescriptions as necessary;
- Manage orders from creation, through delivery including the management of discrepancies, supersession and price changes;
- Daily and monthly stock reconciliation;
- Manage archiving of documentation and retrieval for audit purposes;
- Create supplier stock purchase orders based on system generated order lists.
Requirements:
