Our company is looking for a Temporary to Permanent Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting of customers face to face;
  • Covering additional duties in the absence of the service manager to ensure the smooth running of the service department;
  • Liaising with different departments to ensure the timescales are met and keeping the customer updated;
  • Supporting the sales team with client and customer orders;
  • Raising purchase order forms;
  • Updating the customer database;
  • Maintaining the stock management system for service department stock, for spares and consumables used regularly by staff members;
  • Working closely with external suppliers;
  • Answering telephone enquiries regarding the servicing and repairs, transferring calls to relevant members of staff or to the website;
  • Providing administration support to various projects;
  • Processing orders through SAGE with high attention to detail;
  • General administrative support to the team;
  • Answering calls/taking messages and delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Scanning and filing confidential documents;
  • Updating and keeping on top of the service database, ensuring that all information is current and correct.

Requirements:

  • Excellent word processing skills using Word, Excel, Microsoft Office;
  • Document designing skills using Publisher or similar;
  • Ability to use own initiative and work proactively in an autonomous manner;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise a busy schedule;
  • A good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent qualification in maths and English;
  • High attention to detail and strong IT skills;
  • Good typing skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
