Our company is looking for a Trainee Office Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls dealing with queries;
  • General administration duties;
  • Learning the rota system and being able (long term) to provide support to our current coordinator;
  • Printing Webinar notes;
  • Reconciling online postal account;
  • Monitoring and ordering water supplies;
  • Ordering stationery;
  • Assisting with office/furniture moves;
  • Assisting with the set up on Webinars and video Conferencing;
  • Post and accounts collections;
  • Ensuring printer and photocopiers are replenished daily;
  • Assisting with afternoon banking of incoming cheques;
  • Assisting with opening of post and date stamping and delivering to team members;
  • Document management which includes; photocopying, scanning, binding and PDF printing;
  • Liaising with the IT department regarding any technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Must have own transport;
  • Eventually will be required to take the ‘on call’ phone (paid shift premium);
  • Willing to learn, ambitious and ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Enjoy working in teams;
  • It would be beneficial if you have any admin experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Basic computer literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Able to work to deadlines;
  • GCSEs or equivalent A-C or 6-9 grades;
  • Confident, polite and calm.
