Our company is looking for a Transport Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Briefing & debriefing of drivers;
  • Printing Documents for Domestic Vehicles;
  • Implement claims from customers and effectively liaise with suppliers;
  • Handling Customs Freight and updating System;
  • Carrying out Investigations on missing, damaged and loaded freight;
  • Accountable for managing KPI’s;
  • Working closely with the development team on the implementation of IS systems;
  • Check, sort and print dispatch paperwork;
  • Booking overnights for drivers;
  • Accountability and Ownership of cost based KPIs;
  • Maintaining Reference Data;
  • Managing Goods Control/Dispatch Department;
  • Focus on Carrier Network adherence and improvement;
  • Report any over spill and complete all relevant paper works;
  • Organising collection of goods.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively within the team;
  • Experience in cross dock operations;
  • Previous warehouse & Transport Administration experience;
  • You will be responsible for booking consignments for delivery and receiving instructions from customers regarding collection of their freight;
  • Proven customer facing experience;
  • Customer orientated with supply chain experience an advantage;
  • Highly Organised;
  • Previous experience in a transport or despatch role is essential;
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment;
  • Previous experience of Tacho Master would be desirable;
  • Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills;
  • Accountable for managing KPI’s;
  • Understanding of the different classes of drivers;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
