Our company is looking for a Assembly Operative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Packing;
  • General warehouse duties;
  • Kit building;
  • Must be punctual and have good work ethic;
  • Working across a number of portfolios;
  • Wood machining and carpentry skills;
  • Hitting KPI targets;
  • Working to targets in the warehouse;
  • Checking the quality of products;
  • Pick and pack products including the labelling of filter material;
  • Cutting cables and soldering onto a template;
  • Taking instructions from the team leader and supervisors;
  • Must have previous work experience using hand tools e.g. drills, screwdrivers, spanners etc;
  • Occasionally working in other areas of the workshop e.g. repairs, printing etc;
  • Packing and wrapping products.

Requirements:

  • Good numeracy skills;
  • Have a good knowledge of health and safety and best practices;
  • To be able to work in various departments including Goods in, MSU E-PICKS and production;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and email;
  • Experience of working as a Assembly Operative / Machine Operator within an assembly environment would be highly beneficial;
  • Background in a similar role;
  • Ability to work to target;
  • Keen eye for detail;
  • Immediately available;
  • Be comfortable to use hand held tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters and crimping tools;
  • Good levels of English, both spoken and written;
  • PC literate – ECDL or equivalent desirable;
  • Previous experience on a production line/assembly;
  • A quick thinker;
  • Punctual.
