CNC Press Brake Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health & Safety and house keeping policies are followed;
- Produce a high quality product in the time allocated;
- Have previous experience reading and working to engineering drawings;
- Programme, set and operate a press brake machines;
- Be flexible in your approach with a “CAN DO” attitude with the ability to manage your time effectively whilst working to tight targets and deadlines;
- A good working knowledge of Amada and/or Edward Pearson presses;
- Programme, set and operate Amada press brake machines;
- You must have proven experience working with steel and high value components;
- Be able to set and input programmes and measurements with a working knowledge of tooling sizes.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and team playing skills;
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role;
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings;
- Must have experience of using measuring equipment, including verniers and and angle measuring devices;
- Candidates must have previous experience of operating Guillotines and Press Brake machinery;
- The role will mainly be night work with some weeks on days, depending on work load, so flexibility is essential.
