Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a sound knowledge of systems and procedures and carry out all work in a safe manner, reporting any issues via the appropriate system;
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of the business and where the supply chain and manufacturing fits as part of the business strategy;
  • Setting up and preparing machinery for production including Weighing, loading chemicals and materials into vessels;
  • Packing and labelling finished items ready for shipment and reporting any issues regarding production process or equipment problems to Managers;
  • Ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy and maintain high levels of Health and Safety;
  • Carry out daily tasks to authorised work instructions. Maintain departmental logbooks and departmental paperwork to a high GMP standard;
  • You will ensure that a high standard of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is adhered to at all times;
  • Comply with Health & Safety guidance and report on any Health and Safety issues;
  • Operating and monitoring;
  • Preparation of large volumes of liquid buffer solutions and transportation of full and empty containers to an agreed schedule;
  • Adherence of Quality management procedures;
  • Must be punctual and have good work ethic;
  • Transport is limited therefore your own transport is also beneficial;
  • Working in one of 3 manufacturing departments to assist with building bespoke safety products;
  • Carrying out tasks to ensure that scheduled daily output demands are met.

Requirements:

  • Flexible to work shifts;
  • Sterile or Aseptic production;
  • GMP experience;
  • Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Have experience in working within a stores environment;
  • Experience with stock control, and distribution;
  • Working on a shift pattern to include alternate weekends;
  • Heavy Lifting;
  • Good attention to detail.
