Our company is looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing verbal and email quotes for customers;
- Dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquiries;
- Checking and recording delivery paperwork;
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with your team and customers;
- Obtaining stock for customer orders;
- Providing sales and technical support on products for customers;
- Stock management with a high degree of accuracy;
- Providing customers with information such as stock availability, pricing and lead times;
- Complete system transactions for dispatch of stock, goods in, receiving and stock locations;
- Processing relevant paperwork;
- Picking, loading, delivering and unloading goods at customer sites within the local area;
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained and kept clean;
- Meeting and greeting customers in the store and at the trade counter;
- Daily warehouse duties;
- Meeting and greeting customers into store and at the trade counter.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Experience of a similar role in a trade or retail environment;
- Driven to achieve high standards;
- Ability to communicate at all levels professionally;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- High level of self-motivation;
- Good organisational skills;
- Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative;
- A full clean drivers license;
- Organised and structured approach to work and tasks;
- Trade counter knowledge and experience including some sales background;
- Plastic and window knowledge preferred but not essential as training can be provided;
- Knowledge of the local market;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A full and valid driving license is essential.
