Our company is looking for a Security Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report security or safety issues to the site Supervisor;
  • Provide security escort to all areas of the building as and when required;
  • Carry out ID checks;
  • Testing of other emergency systems; panic alarms, lift alarms, disabled toilet alarms;
  • On-site security patrolling and other secondary security duties;
  • Ensure you have read and understood the site’s Risk Assessments;
  • Immediately report any site defects, health and safety concerns or security risks to line management and client;
  • Excellent customer skills;
  • Carry out daily checks of the following: passes / keys / search registers and to conduct and audit as per instructions;
  • Further investigation with regards to security issues;
  • Carry out any other reasonable instruction / task as instructed by Line Management or the Client;
  • Responding to emergency situations;
  • Assisting everyone professionally;
  • Welcoming Guests and providing a positive guest experience;
  • Protection of Company premises, assets and personnel.

Requirements:

  • 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards – BS7858;
  • Some computer experience, ability to write clear daily written reports;
  • Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position;
  • Full Driving licence is essential;
  • Able to report to emergency services and control room when required;
  • 5 year checkable history;
  • Customer facing Security Officer experience essential;
  • High levels of professional Integrity;
  • Driving license is essential;
  • Must be fluent in English;
  • Smart and well presented;
  • UK Driving License essential;
  • Hold a Frontline SIA Licence – Security Guard, Door Supervisor or Close Protection;
  • Valid First Aid Licence;
  • Undergo security screening to BS7858.
